What can happen when you overuse antibiotics.

overuse antibiotics
The link between antibiotics and candida symptoms in already proven by medical researches. Let us see what happens when you overuse (and many of us do, I’ll talk about it later and explain why) antibiotics. As I mentioned in previous posts you can find candida in any human body. It’s overgrouth is limited by a balance between immune system and friendly bacteria. There are actually plenty of factors that stop candida overgrowth, but these two are related to antibiotics.

When you take an antibiotic, two main things happen:

1. Friendly bacteria are killed, because antibiotics don’t discriminate and kill both: “good” and “bad” bacteria. Killing pathogen or “bad” bacteria is good for us – so we are treated from bacterial infections, but killing the friendly bacteria will lead to a bacterial imbalance which will lead to candida overgrowth.

2. It is now proven that antibiotics modify your immunity – it goes low. A perfectly functional immune system is vital to prevent candida overgrowth. So. It becomes a second factor that leads to a yeast infection.

Now that you know what happens when you use antibiotics, will you take it again? That is your doctor’s decision. Sometimes our organism does need a little help to fight the bacterial infection. The key point is to not overuse antibiotics. And many times we don’t even know we take it. As for example, farm grown animals are often treated with antibiotics. And when we eat the meat we take some antibiotics too.

Non-organic dairy products are loaded with antibiotics, among other byproducts. This is why dairy products should be replaced with healthier alternatives such as organic goat and sheep’s milk products.

Eliminating Candida (yeast) diet is not limited to this, but I’ll talk about it later.
